Utilizing an anthropological approach to photojournalism, Goran has attempted to record some of the faces and situations of the manual laborers with whom he worked alongside at US bases in Afghanistan he had found inspirational. Faces are silk screened on military sandbags and then placed symbolically on top of sandbag walls.
